Therapy

Dr. Little offers both RO-DBT adherent therapy and traditional talk therapy. What’s the difference? Ideally, RO-DBT treatment is 25-30 individual sessions with attendance at a weekly skills class. Some people opt to attend skills class only, and these options can be discussed. RO-DBT is a structured therapy and time limited. Traditional talk therapy is less structured but still goal orientated and informed by balancing practical problem solving and skill development with space to ask the bigger existential questions like “what’s my purpose?” or “how do I become a better version of myself?” Whichever therapeutic path you choose, Dr. Cole’s style is one of compassionate directness that includes humour, cultural humility and skill building. Zoom only.

Clinical Supervision

Dr. Little is an Approved Clinical Supervisor with BCACC as of 2022. In order to receive clinical supervision, you must be registered with BCACC. She does not accept RO-DBT supervisees who are not Canadian citizens. Zoom only.

Consultation

Dr. Little enjoys teaching workshops related to eating disorders, anxiety management, and, of course, RO-DBT. As a recovering academic, she still loves teaching and welcomes opportunities to do so. Need something tailored to your institution? Contact to brainstorm!
